Scott Thrift was born in Turkey while his father was stationed in Ankara in the Air Force. There began his fascination with History and Architecture. He was raised in Oregon and attended the the University of Oregon with a degree in Architecture and Architectural History. Scott has been working primarily on single family residential design the past 15 years in California, Nevada and Oregon. He has also just recently expanded his practice to Hawaii. During the late 1990s he worked in Mainland China on Golf Course Communities.
